Where an organ has discrete attributes the customer ticks, a cushion has free dimensions. A steel cable has free length. A wooden panel has length × width × thickness × edge-finish. CPQ Builder's parametric mode takes those inputs, runs a formula per material, and writes the same kind of BOM + manufacturing order into Odoo on cart confirm.
What the customer types
Same wizard chrome, same Odoo write path, same admin. The only thing that changes is what the customer enters.
